1.
DECIDE IF YOUR PROJECT NEEDS TO BE MASTERED: Most people refer to their final
mix tape or disc as a "master." While this is adequate when referring to source
material from which copies are made, a mixed recording is not a mastered
recording. Mastering is an additional process that can be used to maximize
signal level, provide dynamic continuity across all the songs in your
collection, and balance frequency content. Some listeners note a subjective
sense of "punch" or "body" is added to the recording. Our charge for mastering
is very competitive (see the RATES PAGE
). Contact us to discuss
mastering BEFORE you place your order.
2. VIEW THE RATES PAGE
: Decide which package
and options you want, locate your program length and desired quantity on the
table to establish unit price.
3.
PRINT OUT THE ORDER FORM
: We have provided an Order Form
on this website. Just link to the
page
and
print it out.
4. COMPLETE THE FORM:
-
Be sure to include your full name and shipping address
(not a PO box). Shipping limited to the continental United States. Please
include your telephone number and e-mail address so we can contact you if we
have questions.
-
Please use one form for each order; do not combine
multiple orders on one form.
-
Be sure the song or program titles are correct and in
order; we use this information to determine what is printed on the
CD.
-
To view our
standard printing format, go to the CD LAYOUT SHEET
. If you would like your CD
printing laid out differently than our standard format, print out the CD LAYOUT SHEET
, mark it up to indicate how you would like your CD laid
out, and send it with your order. If you have custom graphics, please
call.
-
Establish unit price, and multiply by order quantity to
arrive at extended price.
-
When specifying additional services, such as shrink
wrapping, be sure that the order quantity reflects the number of units you
want processed. (For example, if you want all of your 1,000 duplicated CDs
shrink wrapped, the order quantity for shrink wrapping would be
1,000.)
-
Calculate and record the sum in the SUBTOTAL 1
field.
-
If you're local, you
can pick up your product at our studio facility. Otherwise, calculate and record the shipping
and handling charge (see the RATES PAGE
) ; add the shipping and handling charge to the SUBTOTAL 1
amount and record the sum in the SUBTOTAL 2 field.
-
If you're a Pennsylvania resident and you are purchaisng
product that is in a finished state for resale, calculate 6% sales tax on
the SUBTOTAL 2 amount and enter it in the PA SALES TAX field.
-
Add SUBTOTAL 2 and PA SALES TAX amounts to arrive at
TOTAL. Record TOTAL - this is your final order price.
5. SEND US YOUR SOURCE MATERIAL WITH YOUR
ORDER FORM (AND CD LAYOUT SHEET, IF APPLICABLE) AND PAYMENT:
-
PROTECT YOUR SOURCE MATERIAL! You've worked long and hard
on your recording. Protect it with a structurally sound container (this means
BOX, not envelope - padded or otherwise) and cushioning to restrict movement
and absorb impact. We are not responsible for damage that may occur to your
source material during shipment from you to us. If we note anything unusual or
questionable on receipt of your source material, we will contact
you.
-
Currently we accept personal checks, certified or bank
checks, and money orders. Orders paid for with certified or bank checks or
money orders will be processed immediately; personal checks will have to clear
first. We will be on-line with PayPal very shortly.
6. WAIT FOR YOUR FINISHED
PRODUCT TO ARRIVE: Our typical lead time is five (5) working days
from the time we receive and approve your source material to
the time we ship it out. If you need your
CDs faster than that, we can turn them around in 24 or 48 hours
for an additional charge (see RATES PAGE
and ORDER FORM ).
